Facebook Chat is a simple and fast IM application to chat with your Facebook friends.

This application makes use of the XMPP protocol and connects directly to the chat servers of facebook.com. Since there's no third-party server involved you can be sure that the connection is safe and reliable.

The user interface is specially designed to be simple and functional so that you can only focus on chatting with your friends.

You can also browse the web while chatting with your Friends.

Note: You must have a Facebook username to use this application. Email addresses are not supported!

* Q: My username and password are correct but I still get a "Sign In Error!"

A: You must have a Facebook username to use this application. This is not the same as your email address. If you don't have a username you can set one at http://www.facebook.com/username. After setting up a username you must log out and into Facebook once for your username to become active!

* Q: How can I refresh my "Online Friends" list manually?

A: This iPad application is implemented using a real-time messaging and presence protocol. This means that you don't have to manually refresh your "Online Friends" list since all changes will be pushed to your iPad in real-time.
